Alexis Atkinson is March Middle Level Leader


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sauk Prairie Optimist Club has not been able to meet, but the Club has decided to still honor Sauk Prairie Middle School’s selected Optimist Middle Level Leaders whilel on Stay at Home orders. We will be using the Leaders’ school pictures. Alexis Atkinson is the Optimist Sauk Prairie Middle Level Leader for March. She is an 8th grader and the daughter of Alex and Machel Atkinson. She was nominated by her Tech Ed and Agriculture teachers, Jacob Brickl and Troy Talford. They had this to say about Alexis, “Alexis has demonstrated great leadership capabilities within the Technology and Agriculture classes. She leads by example by making sure to ask questions regarding the content and through doing a quality job on all of her work. She is also always willing to help out within the classroom by helping out her fellow classmates. She is a great example of what we expect from all our students in and outside of the classroom.” Alexis plays football, softball, volleyball and soccer. She also volunteers at the local food pantry. In the future, she is interested in entering the Armed Services and becoming a Conservation Officer.
