It’s the season for the Wisconsin Heights Greenhouse Sale

Do you enjoy a beautiful landscape, a simple Mother’s Day gift or fresh vegetables and herbs?  Then you too will enjoy this year’s plant sale at the Wisconsin Heights High School!

Before remote learning started, the high school students enrolled in Greenhouse Management students got a little taste of what it was like running a greenhouse; tending to plants, watering, receiving plugs, replanting, pinching and pruning, learned the ins and outs of maintaining healthy plants. These plants are now ready to be sold! You can find a list of the varieties if you follow the plant sales on Facebook (WH Greenhouse Sale).

Of course, this year will be a little different as you will not be able to enter the greenhouse. The details of the Walk Through Sale are as follows:

There will be tables set up with a plant (of each variety) for you to view at tables that will be set up on the sidewalk.

A WH staff or FFA Alumni member will walk with you to fill out your order form, they will then have the order filled and bring your order to your car.

Please place your payment into the bucket (no change will be available; checks can be made out to WHHS Greenhouse).

If ready, vegetables/herbs may be available.  Possible varieties include: Beefmaster tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, Red Bell Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, Cilantro, Basil, Oregano.

Please wear a mask.

Prices are $2-4 for annuals, herbs & veggies, $4-10 for perennials, shrubs / landscape plants and $25 for hanging baskets.
