Heights aims for improvement


Mikayla Teela and Wisconsin Heights’ girls basketball team are optimistic they can improve on last year’s 4-17 season.

Outside expectations won’t be high.

Inside Wisconsin Heights’ girls basketball program, the belief is much different.

The Vanguards opened their new season Tuesday at Lancaster believing they can be better than a year ago, when they went 4-17 overall and 1-9 in the Southern Capitol Conference.
