When a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office detective and a California Highway Patrol officer were out and about on May 22, they saw a car going faster than the posted speed limit. Police said they saw “multiple indicators of narcotics trafficking” during the stop. An extensive examination of the car prompted by their suspicions turned out a stash of cocaine in a big tote bag concealed in the spare tire compartment. There was a huge amount in the package.
