The Sauk Prairie police department is investigating a string of robberies across the area. The investigation is still ongoing, and the police department is looking to identify a suspect.

Black Earth fails to publish board meeting minutes in newspaper

The village of Black Earth has failed to publish meeting minutes for every board meeting of the past 18 months in the newspaper. According to Wisconsin statutes, minutes for every meeting shall be published in the local newspaper. These minutes “include the substance of every official action” taken by the village.
