Sacramento, California – A new community poll is now open to get feedback from Sacramento residents about what it’s like to live in the city of Sacramento and use local services. City officials said the goal of the endeavor is to get a wide spectrum of opinions and utilize them to make plans and decisions in the future.
The City Auditor’s Office is in charge of the survey, which asks citizens to think about a number of issues that affect their quality of life in Sacramento. People are invited to provide their thoughts on city services and the state of their communities as a whole.
This gives city officials an idea of what is going well and what could use some attention. City officials think that the comments are very important for finding out what locals care about most.
City Auditor Farishta Ahrary highlighted how important it is for people to take part, saying that the survey is one of the best methods for citizens to share their views. The Auditor’s Office said that more people taking part means better data, which helps the city better understand trends and community needs in different regions.

Residents will have several weeks to fill out the survey, which will be open until February 13. The survey itself is part of the National Community Survey, a standardized tool developed by the National Research Center and hosted by Polco. This way, the city can still focus on topics that are important to its residents. There are protections in place to keep personal information safe, and responses are anonymous.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and give an email address and ZIP code to prove they live in Sacramento. This is to make sure that feedback comes from people across the city. City authorities say that Polco keeps this information safe and doesn’t share it with anybody else. They only use it to verify participation and keep the data accurate.
As part of the outreach effort, certain homes were chosen at random to get survey invitations in the mail. Officials continue to be encouraging all residents to take part, even if they didn’t get a notice in the mail. Anyone who lives in Sacramento can fill out the poll online, which is open to everyone.
