Sacramento, California – Sacramento pet owners will have a chance to get key care for their cats and dogs at no cost this month, as a free vaccination clinic comes to Marina Vista Community Center on Sunday, July 12.
The event, organized with the City of Sacramento and Front Street Animal Shelter, will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 240 Seavey Circle in Sacramento. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last and as time permits.
The clinic is open to both cats and dogs. Available services include DHPP vaccinations for dogs, FVCRP vaccinations for cats, rabies vaccines for both cats and dogs, and microchipping for both pets.
Organizers are asking residents to follow basic safety rules when bringing animals to the clinic. All dogs must be kept on a leash, and all cats must be brought in carriers. The rules are meant to keep pets, owners and clinic staff safe as animals move through the site.
