Sacramento, California – Local authorities said early on Sunday that a missing Sacramento teenager who led to a public search over the weekend had been found safe.
The Sacramento Police Department sent out an alert on Saturday asking the public for help finding 17-year-old Talun Perryman, who had been reported missing. Police said Talun was young and at risk because of a mental health issue and stressed how important it was to find him as soon as possible.
Authorities said that Talun was last seen on January 30 at about 11:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of New Market Drive. He was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weigh about 210 pounds, and have black hair and brown eyes. Police noted he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and carrying an army-green backpack.

After the alarm, the agency asked anyone who knew where Talun was to come forward right away. As officers searched for the teen, the need for public help was widely reported.
