West Sacramento business leaders get early look at three-building retail development

Published on

Sacramento, California – A proposed retail development could bring 25,000 square feet of new commercial space to West Sacramento. Before plans move further, local business leaders will have a chance to hear directly from the people shaping the project.

The Pheasant Club Project will take center stage at the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Economic & Government Affairs Forum. The virtual discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Planned as a three-building lifestyle retail development, the project represents a notable addition to West Sacramento’s commercial landscape. The forum will give Chamber members an opportunity to learn more about the proposal, the team involved and the role the development could play in the city.

Several representatives from Sutter Capital Group are expected to participate. The featured speakers include Dan Ramos, Mark Cordano, Henry de Vere White and Simon de Vere White. Together, they will represent the development team behind the Pheasant Club proposal.

City officials will also join the conversation. Traci Michel and Meaghan Stiles, both representing the City of West Sacramento, are listed among the forum’s featured participants.

Their involvement gives attendees a chance to hear perspectives from both the private development team and the city. The discussion is expected to provide a closer look at the proposed retail project and its place within West Sacramento’s continued growth.

At 25,000 square feet across three separate buildings, the proposal is designed as more than a single storefront. Its lifestyle retail format could create space for multiple businesses and services, although specific tenants or opening timelines were not included in the announcement.

The Economic & Government Affairs Forum is organized as a West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce member event. Because it will be held virtually, registered participants can attend through Zoom without traveling to an in-person venue.

For Chamber members interested in development, local government or West Sacramento’s business environment, the August 11 forum offers an early opportunity to hear from the people closest to the proposal. The session will run for 90 minutes, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 10 a.m.
