Sacramento, California – Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum is inviting Sacramento residents to be part of a first-of-its-kind moment when X Games Sacramento arrives at Cal Expo from June 26 through June 28, 2026, bringing action sports, music, culture and local pride onto one national stage.

This event carries extra meaning for the city. For the first time ever, the Sacramento Lowrider Commission and X Games are joining forces, creating a meeting point between two powerful worlds: high-flying competition and “Art on Wheels.” Organizers are calling it a historic moment.

The three-day event will also mark the first official stop of the new Moonpay X Games League 2026 Summer Season. Under the new league format, clubs and individual athletes will be able to earn points toward a championship, adding a new layer of stakes to a weekend already packed with energy.

Fans can expect 18 marquee events across Skateboard, BMX and Moto X. Friday’s lineup includes Men’s BMX Park, Women’s Skateboard Park and Moto X Best Whip. Saturday brings Men’s Skateboard Street, Dave Mirra BMX Best Park Trick, Women’s Skate Vert Best Trick, Men’s Skateboard Park, Men’s BMX Dirt, Moto X Best Trick and Men’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick. Sunday closes with Women’s Skateboard Street, Men’s Skateboard Vert, Men’s BMX Street, Women’s BMX Park, Women’s Skateboard Street Best Trick, Men’s Skateboard Street Best Trick, Women’s Skateboard Vert and BMX Dirt Best Trick.

The weekend will stretch beyond competition. X Games Sacramento is also expected to include cultural and festival experiences, sponsor activations, live music and more. Headliners have already been confirmed, with Kaskade scheduled for Friday and Mustard and Subtronics scheduled for Saturday.

A ticket is required to attend X Games Sacramento, and tickets are now on sale while supplies last. Sacramento residents can find event details, ticket information and schedule updates through the official X Games website at xgames.com/events/sacramento-2026. The schedule is live but subject to change.

Residents also have access to discounted tickets using the code XGSACLOWRIDER20.

For Sacramento, the event is more than a stop on a sports calendar. It is a chance to see world-class athletes, local culture, music and the city’s creative spirit share the same stage. With the Sacramento Lowrider Commission joining the X Games spotlight for the first time, Pluckebaum’s invitation is also a call for residents to show up, celebrate and be part of a weekend Sacramento will not see every day.
