A summer afternoon centered on community, inclusion and celebration is coming to Natomas as Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum announces “Pride, Sunshine, and Poolside Vibes,” an event inviting Sacramento residents to gather by the water and celebrate Pride together.

The invitation is broad and simple: everyone is welcome. Families of all shapes, sizes and identities are encouraged to attend and take part in an event focused on diversity, connection and fun. Guests can arrive ready to swim or choose to relax poolside and enjoy the atmosphere. Swimsuits, pride and a full crew are all part of the invitation.

At its heart, the gathering offers more than a day at the pool. It creates space for residents to come together in a setting built around acceptance and belonging. Pride celebrations often bring communities into public spaces with a message of visibility and support, and this Natomas event will bring that energy to a sunny afternoon by the water.
