Sacramento, California – A man was taken into custody Tuesday morning following an incident at a home in Sacramento County where he allegedly threatened his father with a knife, according to local authorities.

Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 9:30 a.m. to the 3600 block of Jade Court after receiving a report of a weapons-related disturbance. The caller told dispatchers that his son had threatened him while armed with a knife. Officials later confirmed that the son did not live at the residence but had been permitted to sleep in a vehicle parked on the property.
