Sacramento, California – Local authorities said early on Sunday that a missing Sacramento teenager who led to a public search over the weekend had been found safe.

The Sacramento Police Department sent out an alert on Saturday asking the public for help finding 17-year-old Talun Perryman, who had been reported missing. Police said Talun was young and at risk because of a mental health issue and stressed how important it was to find him as soon as possible.

He was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weigh about 210 pounds, and have black hair and brown eyes. Police noted he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and carrying an army-green backpack.
