Sacramento man arrested after police link antisemitic vandalism to intimidation campaign on U Street

Published on

Sacramento, California – A Sacramento man has been arrested in connection with a pair of vandalism incidents that police say were designed to frighten and intimidate people associated with a property in the city’s U Street area.

The investigation began after the Sacramento Police Department learned of two acts of vandalism in the 4600 block of U Street in July 2025.

According to police, swastikas were used in the vandalism, leading investigators to classify the incidents as bias-motivated because of their apparent intent to terrorize or intimidate individuals connected to the property.

The markings left behind were not treated as simple property damage. Detectives pursued the case as an act carrying a targeted message, one that prompted a broader investigation into who may have been responsible and whether the incidents were linked to other threatening behavior.

Working with federal partners, Sacramento police detectives identified a suspect during the course of the investigation. Authorities said the individual had made repeated antisemitic statements on several social media platforms, along with threats directed toward other marginalized groups.

Investigators also determined that the suspect had referenced being involved in the bias-motivated vandalism on U Street, police said.

Detectives identified the suspect as 19-year-old Feyd Pounds of Sacramento. An arrest warrant was obtained for Pounds in relation to the vandalism, which police said was committed with the intent to intimidate or terrorize.

On June 2, Pounds was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

The arrest marks a significant step in a case that began nearly a year earlier, after symbols associated with hatred and intimidation appeared on property in a Sacramento neighborhood. Police have not indicated that the investigation is closed and are continuing to seek information from members of the public who may know more about the incidents.

Anyone with information connected to the investigation is encouraged to contact the Sacramento Police Department dispatch center at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
